Before people are just used to start their day with a cup of coffee and a piece of bread, takes their lunch with a plenty of rice and the usual native soup and for dinner they'll have rice and some healthy soups and meats. But this routine has been changed by time and modernization. Due to the influence of affordable and fast serving food chains, people have entertained and have practiced this habit, eating in fast food chains oftenly especially if he's in a hurry or tired of cooking at home.

But what has been so alarming is that even the young ones are fund of demanding to their parents to eat outside making this situation as the route cause of unhealthy eating,obesity and some heath problems. Even if a parent says thathe or she doesn't bring heer or his child oftenly to fast food chains it is still bad to the health for even in moderation, eating a diet consisting largely of fast food could cause your waistline to bulge more than eating the same amount of fat from healthier sources.

Although very few people will admit to eating fast food, the number of golden arches in any town or city indicates that some of us are not telling the whole truth. Fast food outlets have always been targeted as sources of food that contain calories and little else - so-called empty calories.
To their credit, and in this day of online information, companies are making available nutrition information about their products so customers can know better what they are buying, and what they are eating. It make take a little research, and some intelligent choices, but it is possible to eat a nutritious meal and avoid the calories when eating at a hamburger joint.
A comparison of two foods offered by McDonalds serves as a good example. The Quarter Pounder is a popular hamburger sold at McDonalds that contains a beef patty, sesame seed bun, ketchup, mustard, pickles, onion, and grill seasoning. The garden salad is listed as containing lettuce, shredded cheddar/jack cheese, chopped egg, chopped tomato, and green onions. The table below, showing the nutrient content provide by McDonalds for these two foods, shows that the burger contains more of the nine nutrients than the garden salad. However, beef just because it is beef contains more fat and calories etc. than lettuce. The table shows that even when you are forced by your children to go to McDonalds, you can still find food that is low in fat, calories and salt if you choose the salad.
The nutrient value of an individual food should always be compared to your daily intake requirements. If the stop at McDonalds is just to buy a snack to tide you over until dinner, you should look very carefully at what you are eating and what nutrients it contains.
Good to know that the fast food chain owners had become observant in their offered meals, making an option to the consumers if they want to eat in the fast food chains where healthy meals are now available.

Kini tungod sa mga sagol sa cake na dili maayo sa atong lawas ug makahatag/makadugang lamang ug sakit kanato. Kasagaran sa mga mahiligon ug cake kay mga babae. Tuod dili lang kay negatibo ang tanang maihatag sa cake sa atong panglawas, naa pud kini’y maayong epekto kanato.

Sa pagkadiskubre sa malunggay cake, lain-lain ang reaksyon sa mga tawo; naa’y mga naka-uyon, naa po’y wala ganahi. Matod pa sa usa ka doctor, ang malunggay cake sakto gihapon sa nutrisyon sama pud sa kamunggay nga atong ginakaon sa adlaw-adlaw. Ang mga tawo labi na katong mga mahiligon ug cake kay pwede maka-kaon ani kutob sa ilang gusto tungod kay kani daw na cake daghan ug bitamina nga makatabang aron kita mahilayo sa bisan unsang matang sa sakit. Bisan ang mga taw nga naa’y sakit na diabetes pwede daw maka kaon niini ingon ang doctor.

Daghan nang mga taw ang nag kaon ini nga cake tungod sa mga benepisyo na ikahatag niini sa atong lawas aron kita mahimsug. Nakahi-agoman sa mga taw na mas maayo kung kini nga cake ang ilang kaonon kay dili lang daw kini lami, sakto pa sa nutrisyon ug dili maka-tambok.

1. Drink water …
No, you don't have to fill up like a tub, but ensure that you drink 8 to 10 glasses of water every day. Don't substitute for juice. Your body should always be hydrated. Your kidneys will thank you as it can easily flush out the waste. With adequate water intake your body will be able to metabolize fat more effectively. And if you have a glass of water 10-15 minutes prior to your meal, you will feel full once you start eating.  Another fun fact, did you know that you can lose 62 calories by drinking ice cold water? But it’s better to drink it between meals or before meals, so that your food gets digested properly.

2. Eat 5 times a day …
Start with breakfast. The more you eat for breakfast, the less food you will want to eat at night.  Please, don't skip this meal as you'll end up devouring everything in sight for the rest of the day. You don't need to gobble up 5 large meals, just 3 meals of a sensible size and 2 delicious yet low calorie snacks. Eat sensibly so your body doesn't crave for food. If you treat your body right it won't demand for more attention!.

3. Use weights …
Needless to say, exercise is crucial to weight loss. You can't expect to sit on the couch all day, sip water, and lose weight. Join a good gym that lets you work with weights. It will help you build muscle and your metabolism rate will increase. You'll soon see the fat come off and in its place muscle will develop.

4. Use smaller plates in dark colors …
The hotel industry has changed the way we look at food. Today a regular burger can feed an elephant. Well, almost! Check your portions the next time you dine out. You don't need to finish every morsel. So, what you should do is ask your waiter to put half of your meal into a doggy bag before it even makes to the table.  This way you will not be tempted and you will feel full eating less. And you will have something for breakfast too!

5. Read between the lines …
Food and drink products are all out to get you. They scream "˜Buy me! Buy me!’ It could be "˜fat free' but it could still have a lot of calories. You need to analyze the nutrition label on the cover. The number one example of this is sodas. Find out what's good for you and what isn't. Knowing in advance can help you stay away from products that are calorie-enriched. Oh and when shopping for groceries, avoid the aisles with cookies, frozen pizzas and ice-cream – it’s not the best place to test your will-power.

6. Keep a journal …
It helps to document what you eat. This way you can keep track and evaluate your eating habits at the end of each week. And if you’re a little more tech-savvy, then you could always maintain a weight-loss blog. Ask your dietician to look at your journal and suggest improvement points. I found it helpful to measure myself with a meter every morning. Every time I skipped dinner, my waist was a little bit smaller – and that’s what gave me the strength to get my appetite under control.

7. Don't punish yourself …
Go easy on yourself at least one day in a week. If you begin to dislike your diet then there's something wrong. Find a diet that suits your body type and your lifestyle.

When there was not any computer with internet connection which is being paid through inserting a peso coin in B.Rodriguez St., Cebu City yet, the residents (especially the children) used to play around the basketball court of their “Sitio”. The said court is used to be filled up with youths and kids..running and playing all around. Their parents/guardians will look for their children there, for that is supposedly where they can be found most of the time. The youths also are hanging out there and playing basketball.

By the time the said technology arrived in their place, almost everyone there wanted to use that technology in which you will insert a coin due to its affordability. The handler of those is a couple; they franchised this business and established this outside their house. The residents, not only the children and youths got so interested and engrossed with this but as well as the “young-at-heart” parents. They would just drop one peso and they can enjoy 5 minutes of internet surfing. Their attention (especially the children’s attention) was diverted from playing basketball and other Pinoy games into playing internet games and surfing the internet. They spent much of their time doing so. They used the internet unwisely.

As an outcome, the children are hurrying home so that they can enjoy playing the said technology. Their attention in their studies is drawn out by this technology. There was even an instance when they cut classes just to play the said technology and got failing grades, confessed by one of those kids. Their parents were pissed off and were alarmed by this situation that it made them tighten the rules to be followed by their children.
